Atabeya utilizes a dynamic blend of sounds and rhythms informed by: Haitian Jazz & Kompa/Konpa Direk, Dominican Bachata, Peruvian Psychedelic-Cumbia, Nigerian Afrobeat, and Saharan Blues/Rock by way of Mali and Niger. With infectious grooves and sophisticated melodies and harmonies, it makes for a great musical experience for all onlookers and oncomers!
